In the beginning there were three. Their paths were entwined in a world of music, dance and banter. It was only natural that they should join forces to make the world a better place. And Moochin was born. Moochin is the bastard lovechild of Ricky Wheeler (Mr Kimble) and Lee Jarvis. Born through a love of underground house music and raised on a diet of wild parties, it soon blossomed into the credible London based party collective we know today. From it’s humble beginnings in East London bars, Moochin has now taken on famous venues such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, and SEOne to name a few, whilst Lee and Ricky have racked up DJing gigs for respected promoters such as Riot!, Sedition, Frantic, and Formula. One particular stand out gig was at the UK launch of Nastydirtysexmusic, with Smokin Jo and Tim Sheridan, and they have also played alongside too many top acts to mention (just check the gig page). Moochin has two main principles. Fun, and quality underground house music. With these driving motives, the parties can be pretty infectious- even Ministry's Mark Knight donned a fake moustache and joined in the antics of our Pirate Boat party last summer! The people are what make Moochin special too, with no-one ever going to just one party, they always come back for more, often becoming loyal supporters and firm friends. The next year is pretty exciting for us Moochers, with new DJs on board, and every club wanting a piece of our parties, as well as expanding into the world of production, things are moving on up, and at a rapid rate. The future is not fucking orange, it's Moochin , baby!
